Shelbi

Shelbi Gibson is a founding member and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Coaldale & Regional PAWS. With over 12 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Shelbi continues to play an active role in veterinary care within the community, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to animal welfare and health. Her extensive background in veterinary medicine brings invaluable expertise to PAWS, enriching the organization’s initiatives and ensuring that decisions are guided by a deep understanding of animal care.

Shelbi’s dedication to animals is evident not only through her work with PAWS but also through her active involvement in various animal advocacy groups across Lethbridge and Coaldale. Her passion for animals extends to her personal life as well. Her first "heart dog" was a cherished rescue companion, remembered for his loyalty and gentle guardianship until his final days. Since then, Shelbi has made it a point to always open her home to at least one dog and one cat, embodying her love for animals in both her professional and personal life. Her compassion and commitment inspire confidence among the Board of Directors and volunteers, knowing that she advocates wholeheartedly for the welfare of every animal PAWS serves.
