Hi, I’m Kelly…

I am the Volunteer Co-Ordinator with Coaldale and Regional PAWS which means I get to recruit, train and connect with our amazing volunteers. I appreciate that every volunteer is different, with unique expectations, desires and skills. Volunteers provide much needed love and enrichment for our rescued dogs, and as the coordinator, my role is to ensure that the animals and volunteer’s experience is rewarding and fun!

I am passionate about animal welfare as well as travelling and am actively involved in supporting several animal welfare charities worldwide who I have been so fortunate to meet on my travels.

I have a 14-year-old black labrador, ‘Bella’ who was my first ‘reactive’ rescue dog who has taught me so much about patience and kindness. I also have a ginger tabby cat, ‘Nacho-Charlie’ who unexpectedly came into my life and loves to snuggle, eat and snuggle some more.
